 She tries but tries too
hard, She sees everything from
afar and finds it impossible to
integrate her thoughts, interject
to the lots and belong. It's the
same old unhappy song to the tune
of yesterday's broken promises.
And she wonders if tomorrow it'll
all turn around, so she stays and
she tries all in vane. And the
sun never crosses the sky for
the rain and she cries but she
cries too far, and finds it
impossible to reiterate her plots,
discard all the rott, and see
wrong. It's the same sharp
awakening prong that draws the
blood of reality where she is,
and she wonders if today things
can't change, So she trudges
through the unspent pain, in
search of that for which she
tries, and she tries, and she
tries, and she tries, and she
tries too hard!
